Walnut crescent cookies, beside being delicious, are easy to make and don't take much time. You need all-purpose flour, butter, eggs, walnuts, sugar and vanilla extract (or vanilla sugar).
First of all ground the walnuts.Beat the eggs a bit then add the sugar and the vanilla and beat them for 2-3 minutes until the sugar starts to dissolve.

Knead until all the ingredients are well mixed (5 minutes should be enough). Let the dough in the fridge for 15-20 minutes. After it rests a bit, take it out and start forming the crescents. We use to split all the dough into small pieces (the size of a small walnut). This way it's easier to make all the crescents roughly the same size.
Roll them a bit between your palms, bend them and place them in an oven tray.
Preheat the oven at 200 Celsius. The crescent cookies need about 20 minutes in the oven or until set and bottoms are lightly browned.
Dust them with confectioners' sugar, if you wish. I like them better without, mainly because I get sugar all over myself :).
Serve them after they cool (you can use a wire rack to help them cool faster).
Enjoy!
